After a stream of poor reviews for Activision’s Tony Hawk Ride the peripheral-based skateboarding game hit stores with little in the way of consumer excitement.
It now appears that the legendary skateboarder himself is taking matters into his own hands, offering Xbox LIVE friendships to anyone who invites him to an XBL game of Ride.
“On XboxLive right now playing @thride. Gamertag: tonyinegypt Who wants some?” twittered Hawk earlier this week.
Later he posted to confirm that all gamers who play his game would be added to his friends list.
