Konami has announced the March 2009 release of Hudson Soft’s Job Island, a new mini-game collection for Wii which sees players taking on a variety of jobs to earn the money to prevent a meteor hitting earth.
Previously announced as Hard Working People, Job Island promises to feature 50 job-based mini-games and three game modes. Story mode will charge players with taking on a range of jobs and outperforming those around them to earn money. Jobs include body-building, cooking, cameraman, ER Attendant, deep-sea explorer, stunt person, make up artist and many more. Each job features three difficulty levels and can also be played against friends.
Players also have the option to spend earnings on items such as uniforms to further enhance their chances in later career choices. They’ll need to spend wisely though as earned money is needed to buy anti-meteor devices.
Players will also be able to go head-to-head in a two-player mode, or enter a training mode where it will be possible to practice the various mini-games.
Job Island will be released in March 2009 for Wii.
