Microsoft has announced that the Halo Wars demo, which launched on Xbox LIVE Marketplace on February 5, has achieved more than two million downloads in its first week. This makes the demo one of the service’s most popular of all time.
Microsoft has also noted that recently released DLC, Fable II Knothole Island and Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage, were two of the top performing game add-ons in the month of January. No actual sales/download figures have been published.
Halo Wars is scheduled for release only for Xbox 360 on February 27 across Europe and on March 3 in the US. Fable II Knothole Island and Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage are both available now on Xbox LIVE Marketplace priced 800 MS Points.
