A collection of remastered Halo games will be released for Xbox One later this year, reports Engadget.
Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 are said to be part of the collection, with titles such as ODST and Reach missing out as they don’t star Master Chief.
The set will allegedly act as a stopgap before the autumn 2015 release of Halo 5, and help fans get back up to speed with the franchise.
It’s currently unknown which studio is handling development of the new collection, but Halo Anniversary studio Saber Interactive is working on an unannounced Xbox One title.
Specifics on the remake, such as resolution, frame-rate and graphical updates, haven’t been revealed.
Microsoft has offered a no comment.
If the leaked info is accurate you can expect to see the game at E3 in a few weeks.
