According to consumer advice website Frugal Gaming, supermarket giant Tesco will be selling Halo: Reach for only £28 when bought with a 2100 MS Points card – typically sold for around £18.

While many retailers are already cutting under the £49.99 RRP, Tesco’s price is the cheapest so far. It remains to be seen if other retailers will follow suit.

Though certainly aggressive, we’re not yet seeing price wars on a par with the 2009 launches of FIFA 10 and Modern Warfare 2.
