Last week Microsoft and Bungie announced the Limited Edition Halo: Reach Xbox 360, sporting swish custom artwork and Halo universe sound effects.

At the time of the announcement these sound effects weren’t revealed, but at Comic-Con over the weekend, 343 Industries’ Frank O’Connor confirmed the sounds we’ll be hearing when powering on the console and ejecting a disc.

Power on the console and your ears will be treated to the sound of the Invisibility power-up, while hitting eject will play the Shield Charging effect.

That’s too cool.

Both game and console will be out September 14, 2010.
