Microsoft is ensuring Halo’s tenth anniversary doesn’t go unnoticed with a lavish hardback art book chronicling the series.

The humongous titled Halo: The Great Journey: The Art of Building Worlds will feature over 400 images from the Halo universe, dating all the way back to early concept art, alongside commentary by over thirty of the series’ artists.

The book will be published on October 18 by Titan Books, when it can be purchased for an RRP £24.99 and spent the rest of its existence sitting on your coffee table next to a book about the many different kinds of shoes.

Microsoft is unlikely to celebrate such an occasion in their history solely with a fancy book, however; rumours of a Halo remake due November 2011 are refusing to go away.
