The Kinect features for upcoming remake, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, are yet to be revealed, but the latest comments from 343 Industries suggest they’re nothing to get excited about.

“I don’t think it’s going to be something that people need to be hyper-excited about,” said franchise development director Frank O’Connor to OXM. “It’ll be cool, but it’s not something you’d put on the front of the box.

“I don’t want to downplay it, but I think of it like this – I use voice on Netflix and it’s awesome, and that’s what this’ll be. Something that enhances you overall experience.”

Microsoft recently revealed the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary pre-order bonuses. The game hits stores on November 15.

What exactly will the Kinect functionality be? Is it simply going to be some voice navigation inside the game’s menus?
