Halo 5: Guardians has gotten off to an explosive start in the UK thanks to a fiery marketing stunt from Microsoft that saw an area of London engulfed in flames.
The stunt, which was filmed outside the O2 Arena, sees Master Chief walking away from the flames after ‘crash landing’ in London, before meeting the game’s second playable character Agent Locke.
The explosions used during the stunt were so powerful, however, that one Twitter user who was in an Emirates Air Line cable car at the time the stunt was filmed made them think that “the cable car was gonna fall”.
@VG_Dave I was in the Emirates cable car going over that when it happened. The explosion made me think the cable car was gonna fall 😐
