Bungie has announced that the latest Halo 2 autoupdate will go live on Wednesday 20th July (today). The update will fix a number of problems players are experiencing with the online portion of the game, such as cheating and minor bugs. Fans will be pleased to hear that the Relic teleporter bug has also been fixed.

The update will also sort out anyone who is playing the game with modified content, either via a modded Xbox or Action Replay codes. Anyone found to be playing with modified content will have their account banned from matchmaking.
