Activision and RedOctane has today confirmed Guitar Hero III for release in the autumn for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 2. For the first time, players will be able to rock wirelessly while battling against players from all over the world.
PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii players will have a Gibson Les Paul model while PS2 gamers will be offered the classic Kramer guitar. Each guitar will feature removable faceplates that will allow fans to later personalize their guitars and make them their own.
New game features include online multiplayer, gruelling boss battles, unlockable bonus content and more master tracks than in previous games. Strategic partnerships have been secured with major and independent music labels to allow access to their deep music catalogues including original artist recordings.
