Activision has announced that Guitar Hero II for Xbox 360 will be released in North America on April 3, and although there’s been no official word on the game’s European release, retail sources point towards April 6.
A quick glance around the major online retailers reveals April 6 as the most likely UK release date, although with most shops being closed over the Easter weekend you may have to wait until April 10 before you can actually get your hands on the game.
The Xbox 360 game will be released alongside the X-Plorer guitar controller and the game will include all the tracks from the PS2 sequel plus several bonus songs. There’s also been plenty of talk on downloadable content, although we’re still to hear anything official from Activision.
