Players of the original Guild Wars who wish to transfer their characters’ names over to Guild Wars 2 need to do so by July 31, ArenaNet has announced.
To reserve your characters’ names all you need to do is log into your Guild Wars account, and then create a character with the same name in Guild Wars 2 during the Headstart Access period or on launch day. After this period all unclaimed character names will be freed up for other players to claim.
Guild Wars 2 launches on PC on August 28.
