Posting on the official European PlayStation Blog, Guerrilla Games producer Seb Downie has said the studio will take a break from Killzone 2 following the release of the game’s third DLC pack, Napalm & Cordite.

“Right now we’re going to take a step back from Killzone 2,” said Downie. “We’ve been working non-stop since the disc version was released on patches, DLC and http://www.killzone.com updates, so need some time to reflect on what is actually out there.”

Whether this means the end of new content for Killzone 2 remains to be seen.

The Napalm & Cordite DLC pack will be released today on the PlayStation Store. For those yet to purchase the previous two DLC packs, Sony will also be offering all three in what it has imaginatively titled the Map Pack Bundle. Pricing details will be announced later today.
