The Guardians of the Galaxy are back in the upcoming ‘The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special’ that is set to see the rag tag band of space miscreants attempting their own holiday miracle in order to cheer up Starlord (played by Chris Pratt) who is feeling less than cheerful due to Gamora (played by Zoe Saldana) no longer being with them.
As revealed in the first trailer for the special above, it is due to release exclusively on the Disney+ streaming service on Friday 25th November 2022, and although no release time has officially been confirmed yet. If ‘The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special’ follows previous Disney+ releases, it will likely be available to stream from 00:00 PDT/ 03:00 EDT/ 07:00 GMT on the 25th November.

With this being one of Marvel Studios new ‘Specials’ meaning that it is neither a short (any movie with a duration of 1 minute to 15 minutes) or a feature (any movie with a duration of around 90 minutes). It will likely be around 50 minutes or so in length, giving us a story that is likely to act as a bridge between the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ and the events yet to be seen in next year’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3’.
