GTA 5’s new First-Person Mode on PS4, Xbox One and PC will also be available in GTA Online, Rockstar Games has confirmed.

Rockstar has sunk a lot of time into ensuring first-person is much more than a change of perspective mod, with a host of changes made in order to ensure players can really enjoy playing from the eyes of their character.

There’s a new optional first-person cover system, a new targeting system, a more traditional FPS control scheme, and thousands of new animations. All this is available at the touch of a button, switching in and out of the new perspective in a flash.

Rockstar also confirmed that both the PS4 and Xbox One versions will run in 1080p at 30 frames per second, with January’s PC version offering support up to 4K resolution.

GTA 5 launches November 18 for PS4 and Xbox One.
