MCV has learned that Rockstar Games’ Grant Theft Auto IV is to be released in the UK on April 25. The news comes by way of unnamed sources said to be close to the publisher.
The release date falls just within Take-Two’s second quarter, the only official date the publisher has given in regard to GTA4’s release.
Although MCV believes the information to be accurate, Rockstar Games has refused to be confirm the date, merely stating it does not comment on “rumour and speculation”.
Rockstar is famously secretive about its projects and we don’t expect to hear official word on GTA4’s release date until much closer to the rumoured April 25 date.
