GTA 6 is arguably the most anticipated video game of all time. It was originally slated for Fall 2025, but it got delayed to May 26th, 2026. Take-Two Interactive’s CEO has previously attempted to ease the concerns about another delay by insisting that “when Rockstar set a specific date, that ends up being the date”. Now there’s more signs Rockstar are fully confident in the release date as GTA 6 job listings have the game poised for a huge marketing campaign all over the world.

New GTA 6 job listings suggest worldwide marketing campaign

As spotted by videotechuk_ on X, Rockstar has begun hiring for “language marketing localisation positions” at Rockstar London. There are 12 countries listed by the developer:

  • Brazil
  • France
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • Japan
  • South Korea
  • Poland
  • Russia
  • China
  • Spain

These are the only positions Rockstar is currently hiring for, but there is the possibility more nations will be added as Rockstar state they are “looking to pipeline candidates for eventual openings in localisation in the coming months”.

Some of the listed responsibilities for the job include “Assist[ing] in the creation and maintenance of marketing style guides and glossaries to aid external translators,” as well as “ensur[ing] authentic and accurate contextual use of language” for marketing materials.

What’s most interesting about the opening is that they are 12-month fixed terms. This seems to suggest that Rockstar are confident in getting GTA 6 out for its current release date, May 26th, 2026. Another vote of confidence is that Take-Two Interactive CEO has said that the delay is only a short one, rounding out to “less than six months”, which suggests the delay is mostly about polishing and ensuring the final product is as good as possible.

Not only is there seemingly confidence in another delay not occurring, but it appears the game is also poised for a massive worldwide marketing campaign. It’s already been predicted that the new Grand Theft Auto will be the biggest launch in history with over $1 billion in pre-orders alone, and it is seemingly certain to be smash hit all over the globe.

There’s no news on when marketing will go into full throttle, but the likelihood is either December or January. We’ve received two trailers so far, and, in the past, Rockstar have done deep gameplay dives closer to the release date. It’s expected Rockstar will provide deep dives in regard to gameplay and the open-world, as well as Jason and Lucia as individual characters.

In other news, a Grammy-winning music producer has claimed GTA 6 will have custom music stations.
