GTA 5 will offer players a wide range of weapon customisation, producer and lead mission designer Imran Sarwar has told Game Informer.
“Ammunation (the gun shop from the series) makes its return in GTA 5, but now you can indeed customise your weapons,” explained Sarwar.
He continued: “The player has access to a wide range of modifications, such as extended clips that allow you to fire more ammo between reloads, grips to improve your accuracy, weapon tints to colour your guns, flashlights, scopes, and suppressors.
“Attachments such as suppressors allow the player to adapt their approach to some missions and take a stealth option. It’s all part of broadening the range of tactical options for the player.”
GTA 5 releases September 17 for Xbox 360 and PS3. The first gameplay footage of the game was released by Rockstar yesterday, which you can watch below.
