Grand Theft Auto 5 has set a new record of concurrent players on Steam, recording 300,452 users on Tuesday, reports GamesIndustry.
The record applies to all non-Valve titles, with both Team Fortress 2 and Dota 2 having previously surpassed the 300,000 figure. Dota 2 has, incredibly, approached 800,000 concurrent players.
GTA 5 eclipsed the 280,000 concurrent figure achieved by Skyrim in 2011.
Prior to the PC launch, Rockstar had shipped more than 45 million units of GTA 5 across PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One.
