Grand Theft Auto 5 will soon become the UK’s best-selling video game of all time thanks to the newly launched versions for PS4 and Xbox One.
MCV understands that GfK Chart-Track will combine sales of the old-gen and new-gen GTA 5 games, meaning Rockstar’s masterpiece is expected to overtake Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops as early as this week.
If GTA 5 doesn’t overtake Black Ops this week then it will do so by the year end.
Prior to the launch of the PS4 and Xbox One versions, GTA 5 had sold just shy of 4 million copies in the UK.
