Grand Theft Auto 5’s in-game video editing tool, the Rockstar Editor, should launch on PS4 and Xbox One this summer, Rockstar Games has announced in a new Newswire Q&A.
The editing tool will not make its way to PS3 or Xbox 360.
“The Rockstar Editor is an advanced tool requiring additional processing power so it would not be compatible with GTAV on the older systems, but we are currently working on a version tailored for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles – and we hope to release that sometime this summer, or as soon as it is ready,” reads the Q&A.
The editor launched with the PC version of GTA 5 on April 14.
Rockstar also confirmed plans to bring The Lab radio station – currently PC only – to all four console platforms in a “forthcoming title update”.
