The lawsuit filed by actress Lindsay Lohan which claims GTA 5 features a character (Lacey Jonas) based on herself is for “publicity purposes” and has no merit, Rockstar Games and Take-Two have said.
Manhattan court papers which were made public yesterday reveal that Rockstar wants the case dismissed and for the former child star to pay all the legal fees.
Take-Two says Lohan’s voice, name and likeness aren’t used in GTA 5, and the only character likeness is that Jonas is also a young, blonde woman.
Lawyers representing Lohan haven’t commented.
