Grand Theft Auto 5 has been classified with an age rating of R18+ in Australia, giving the game the all clear for release.

The game was rated “Strong Impact” for Themes, Violence, Language, Nudity and Sex, but received “High Impact” for drug use.

The classification states the submitted game was the “original” version.

GTA 5 will be released September 17 for Xbox 360 and PS3. An Australian date for sandbox rival Saints Row 4 remains uncertain after it was refused classification for a second time because of its incentivised drug use. A censored version is currently under review.
