Ground Zeroes off  to a solid start in Japan

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes has gotten off to a pretty good start in Japan, according to chart data published for the week ended March 23.

Media Create reports the PS3 game at No.3 with 119,615 units sold, whilst the PS4 edition sits at No.6 with 91,903 units. Mario Party: Island Tour is named as the No.1 game with 132,668 copies.

Famitsu, however, reports different figures and places the PS3 version at No.1 with 151,300 copies sold. The PS4 edition claims fifth spot with 100,278 copies.

PS4 console sales also remained steady, marginally up week-on-week to 30,201 units according to Media Create. Famitsu claims a bigger total of 33,341 units.
