GRID Autosport will receive three new car packs and a variety of “mini-expansions” between now and October, Codemasters has confirmed.

The mini-expansions will each include a new single-player championship and a selection of tracks, routes and cars, and will be built around a specific theme, including:

  • Sprint Pack
  • Touring Car Legends Pack
  • Drag Racing Pack

Meanwhile, the three car packs will be named ‘Best of British’, ‘Coupe Style’, and ‘Road & Track’. Codemasters says that more information on what’s included in each pack will be revealed “a bit closer to the time of release”.

In addition, the developer intends to continue rolling out patches for the game, one of which will introduce a “virtual rear view mirror” to the PC version. “Advanced controller options” will also be integrated in a future patch.

A price for each DLC has yet to be announced, but Codies says that all of it will be included in the game’s Season Pass, available to purchase from PSN for £24.99 and Steam for £23.99. The Season Pass does not appear to be available on Xbox 360.

A ‘Boost Pack’ microtransaction which lets players earn 50 per cent more XP in the game’s single-player and multiplayer was released on Xbox 360 earlier today.
