In an interview with Japanese gaming website 4Gamer, translated by GameSpot, Gungho Online Entertainment president Morishita Kazuki discussed Grandia Online, revealing that the MMO is currently scheduled for release at some time before September 22, 2006, the date on which TGS begins. Morishita hopes to launch the game simultaneously with the company’s new portal site “Gungho Mode,” but admitted that scheduling conflicts could make this difficult.
The chances of Grandia Online appearing in Europe any time soon are slim, given the lack of news regarding a release of Grandia III. However, Grandia III will be appearing in North America on February 14.
