The Grand Theft Auto V Vice City Remastered mod brings Vice City into the new decade, with high definition models and textures and custom scenarios for players to enjoy (via DSO Gaming).

Modder lunchxbles spent four years working on the port of 2002’s Vice City to 2013’s Los Santos. As a DLC, this isn’t just the map of the fictional crime hotspot given a lick of paint to make it look spick and span. The modder has brought brand new models and textures to ensure a “true VC experience”, along with various buildings, MLO interiors, bump-mapped roads, and real reflections on windows and water. With full path and navmesh support and car generators, players are able to tour Vice City to their heart’s content. They’ll even stumble across custom scenarios and missions which sets this mod apart from the rest.

Get the mod here, and Grand Theft Auto V is out now for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
