Rockstar has announced that Casinos will be added to Grand Theft Auto Online, which players can own and operate as well as play in.
Rockstar tweeted the announcement, saying, 'Opening soon: A luxury casino in the heart of Vinewood…'

It isn't yet clear exactly how these casinos will work in-game, but it seems fair to assume that they will work like the other businesses do in the game, like car dealling, drug running, and nightclubs.
with players able to purchase in-game currency with real money, it's also not known exactly how Rockstar will find a way to deal with the gambling issue, which is really hot right now with games like FIFA 20 coming under fire for its FIFA Ultimate Team mode.
There wasn't any concrete details on the update, so we will have to see how the story develops in the coming weeks.
