Activision has registered several domain names for GoldenEye Reloaded, suggesting that there is another GoldenEye remake in the works.

With GoldenEye 007 released on the Wii at the end of last year, this will be the second time Activision has updated the classic N64 title. It’s likely, therefore, that Reloaded will be an Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 title, but it could just as easily be for 3DS or Wii U.

When VideoGamer.com spoke to Activision in September, it seemed unlikely that GoldenEye 007 would ever be ported to 360 or PS3, but the possibility was never ruled out.

Tom reviewed Eurocom’s remake back in November, offering that it “isn’t likely to make anywhere near the same impact as its almost sacred predecessor, but when judged against the rest of the Wii’s FPS line-up Bond stands very near the top.” He gave it a 7/10.

Reloaded is certainly a word that alludes to a remake, but what form we’ll see this in – if it is even a remake at all – has yet to be revealed. An Xbox 360/PS3 update would seem logical, however.
