In a post over on PlayStation.Blog, Cory Barlog, creative director for God of War: Chains of Olympus on PSP, has revealed that the game will definitely take advantaged of the recently unlocked PSP clock speed.

I hear that the official news about unlocking the PSP processor speed is out there. Many people are asking if God of War: Chains of Olympus is going to take advantage of this. The short answer is yes we are!” said Barlog. “Ready at Dawn has been doing some pretty amazing stuff with the PSP since the early days of the platform. Every time I see a new build I am more amazed with what we’re able to pull off with the PSP.

Barlog adds that development is going really well, noting that the “combat for God of War: Chains of Olympus is also coming along really nicely“. Expect to see much more of the game at E3 next month.
