Sony Santa Monica, the studio behind the astonishingly good-looking God of War 3, is busy working on an “unannounced new IP”.

A job advertisement on Gamasutra outed the project, which appears to be an open-world title.

The senior level designer role seeks “experience in designing or contributing to the development of an open world game”. The rest of the job spec offered no further clues to the game.

Earlier this month Sony Santa Monica was reported to be working on a PS Move game which features a floating hand that touches up objects in a forest.

When Sony Santa Monica is involved it’s worth getting excited – just look at the trailer below to see what the studio is capable of.
