While reports on God of War 2’s existence as a PlayStation 2 titled emerged a few weeks back, the lid has now been blown in a multi-page feature in Game Informer magazine. The game is, as expected, a PlayStation 2 title and it’s set to arrive in February 2007.
In development at Sony’s Santa Monica studio, the game will see the return of Kratos, plenty of mythical creatures, and, from the look of things, some stunning visuals. God of War already raised the bar for PlayStation 2 visuals, but this looks to go one better.
Expect more on the game at E3 this May.
