JustGiving and international children’s charity War Child have teamed up with Sports Interactive and SEGA’s Football Manager 2011 to raise money for the War Child charity.

Football Manager 2011- released today – will include JustGiving and War Child banners on the virtual advertising boards alongside the pitch, which when clicked, will allow users to make donations to War Child via the JustGiving website.

In addition, for every Football Manager 2011 game sold, 10p will be automatically donated to the charity to support children affected by war.

Sara Bowcutt, head of corporate and donor fundraising at War Child, said: “War Child has always strived for innovation in fundraising and our partnership with Football Manager encompassed this. We’re really pleased to be involved in this new initiative with JustGiving that not only offers new opportunities to raise income but helps to raise vital awareness about War Child. Our partnership with Football Manager is very important to our work with children affected by war.”
