Ghostbusters: The Videogame will be out on June 19, publisher Atari has confirmed to VideoGamer.com.

The game’s release ties in with the 25th anniversary of the first Ghostbusters movie, and its release on Blu-ray.

Atari picked up the title last year after it was dumped by previous publisher Sierra following the Vivendi Activision merger. Developed by Texas studio Terminal Reality, Ghostbusters: The Videogame sees Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson lend their voices and in-game likenesses to an original story set two years after Ghostbusters II. Manhattan is once again overrun by ghosts and supernatural forces and it’s up to the Ghostbusters to clean up the neighbourhood.

You can check out all the latest on the game, which is in development for 360, PS3, PC, PS2, DS and Wii, over at our Ghostbusters game page.
