Anime News Network reports that Mamoru Oshii, director of the acclaimed anime Ghost in the Shell, will work with Production I.G. to create an anime short for the Halo Legends project.
This was confirmed via a video message during the Halo panel at Comic-Con, following the anime project’s official announcement.
A total of seven anime shorts will be created by five production houses: Bones, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio4 C, and Toei Animation. Shinji Aramaki, director of Appleseed and Appleseed Ex Machina, will oversee the project.
