Ubisoft today dropped the first real look at Far Cry 5 gameplay, featuring a lot of guns, explosions, and a dog called Boomer that you can call in to attack unsavoury characters.
As you try to win Hope Country back from the sinister religious cult that’s taken it over, you’ll build up a resistance with characters that can give you a helping hand (including the pilot Nick Rye, and a gun-for-hire sniper named Grace Armstrong).
There’s also a creepy cinematic trailer, featuring an armed militia singing Amazing Grace.
Far Cry 5 is out on February 27, 2018 for PS4, Xbox, and PC.
