Genshin Impact 5.0 has been a lot of fun since it started in 2024, and we are approaching the fifth chapter’s seventh episode. It should be a few weeks away from release, but, before then, Hoyoverse will conduct a special programme preview detailing everything new for the episode. Here you will find the expected date for the Genshin Impact 5.7 livestream along with exciting new banner characters.

Expected Genshin Impact 5.7 livestream date

The expected livestream date for Genshin Impact 5.7 is June 6th. This hasn’t been confirmed by Hoyoverse as of writing, but it’s an educated assumption with 5.7 also expected to release on June 18th.

It’s expected that 5.7 will release on June 18th because Hoyoverse typical launch new major updates every six weeks. The current ongoing episode, 5.6, launched on May 7th, and phase 2 launched on May 27th.

In addition, the current ongoing phase 2 banners are scheduled to last until June 17th, meaning 5.7 should launch the next day. The current ongoing banners include Kinnich and Raiden as the five-stars, and they are accompanied by Thoma, Lynette, and Kujou Sara.

New 5.7 banner characters

The new characters for Genshin Impact 5.7 are Skirk and Dahlia as shared through drip marketing from Hoyoverse on the game’s official X account.

Per the drip marketing shared on May 13th, Skirk is a Cryo and Crystallina heroine who uses a sword, meanwhile, Dahlia is a sword user as well, but is also Hydro and Cantus Choralis. Leaks have revealed kits for both Skirk and Dahlia, but know that these are not official so they may be inaccurate or changes may have occurred during development.

When the livestream programme happens, we’ll be sure to share the livestream codes as they happen. In addition to the expected upcoming preview, there’s also the chance the game will be part of Summer Game Fest 2025, although nothing has been confirmed as of writing.
