Gears 5 is probably the only new Gears of War game that you'll care about at this year's E3, but it's worth remembering that there's another title on the horizon — Gears Tactics.
As you might have twigged, Gears Tactics puts a turn-based spin on the muscle-bound action franchise, combining strategic-fuelled gameplay with brutal action and character-driven storytelling.
Gears Tactics also features fully customisable squads, upgradable weapons, as well as giving you the chance to square off against massive bosses. I mean, it is a Gears game, right? Microsoft confirmed that it's a prequel set 12 years before the first Gears of War.
Microsoft hasn't confirmed a release date for Gears Tactics yet, but has said it will launch on Windows 10.
