Gears of War 4 will run at 1080p 30 frames per second in its campaign, upping the framerate to 60 when in multiplayer, The Coalition’s Rod Fergusson has confirmed in an interview with Game Informer.
Whilst Xbox One gamers will be pleased to see the magic 1080p 60 combination for multiplayer, PC gamers will be wondering if Microsoft’s new commitment to Windows 10 as a gaming platform means they too could be playing Gears 4 at some point.
Fergusson replied to Game Informer’s questioning about a PC version with a smirk, and “possibly”.
We would not be surprised to see Gears 4 launching for Windows 10, though perhaps not alongside the Xbox One version.
