Gears of War 3 players will have the option to pre-purchase DLC giving them a 33 per cent discount on the regular price, Microsoft and Epic have announced.
The Gears of War 3 Season Pass will launch on September 20 priced 2400 MS Points and will provide players with the first four instalments of DLC when they roll out over the course of the next year – beginning this November.
The DLC promises to add hours of campaign and multiplayer content. Season Pass holders will also receive an exclusive Liquid Metal Weapon Set.
Gears of War 3 has already surpassed 1.3 million pre-orders worldwide, making it the fastest pre-selling Xbox exclusive in the history of the platform.
Gears of War 3 launches in the UK on September 20 in three editions: Standard (£49.99), Limited (£59.99) and Epic (£99.99).
