During Geoff Keighley's Gamescom Opening Night Live we got a new story trailer for The Coalition's Gears 5.
The trailer showed protagonist Kait and her Gears pals, and some explosions, and some Nine Inch Nails, and Cole (!). I'm very much looking forward to it; Gears of War 4 was a delight.
Gears' Rod Fergusson was on stage with Keighley to chat a little about the campaign, as well as the new Horde mode, which was shown off earlier in the day during the Inside Xbox show.
Gears 5 will be available to play from September 6 if you've got Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, or September 10 if you don't.
