Microsoft has confirmed to Edge that Gears of War 2, arguably the biggest Xbox 360 release this winter, will not be available in Japan and Germany.
“We can confirm that Gears of War 2 will not be available in Germany or Japan indefinitely,” a Microsoft spokesperson told Edge.
The first Gears of War was released in Japan, shifting a fairly impressive 33,212 units in its first week of release. No reason for the game’s lack of release in either territory has been given.
