Gears of War 2 executive producer Rod Fergusson has posted release notes for the imminent Gears of War 2 title update 4. According to Fergusson’s post on the official Epic Games forum, the update is in certification so a release date can’t currently be confirmed.
There are too many updates, fixes and tweaks to detail in full here, but one of the bigger changes we’ve noticed is the ability to restart Public Horde from the current failed wave instead of having to start over from wave 1. You’ll also be able to collect multiplayer experience by playing Horde, with points ranging from 50 per completed Casual wave to 125 per completed Insane wave.
You’ll find the complete release notes for title update 4 on the Epic Games forums.
