New copies of upcoming gore fest Gears of War 2 will come with a voucher allowing gamers to download maps from the first game.
According to Gamepro, you’ll find a redeemable voucher in your brand new copy of Gears of War 2 when it’s released on November 7 which will allow you to download the free Flashback map pack.
Flashback will include five visually enhanced classic multiplayer maps from the original Gears of War: Canals, Gridlock, Mansion, Subway and Tyro Station, bringing the total number of available multiplayer maps on day one to 15.
If you buy the Limited Collectors edition of the hotly anticipated game you’ll get a code to unlock a gold-plated Lancer Assault Rifle for use in online play.
Gamers in the US who attend ‘Midnight Madness’ launch events will also be treated to a gold-plated Hammerburst assault rifle. There’s no word on whether it will be available to UK fans, however.
