A FIFA player who trashed his DualShock 3 controller after in-game footballer Mario Götze missed a 90th minute penalty has had the controller replaced by the real life Germany and Bayern Munich star.

Gamer Mario Thissen messaged Götze claiming the footballer owes him €49.90 for the miss because in his rage he smashed his DS3.

Somewhat amazingly Götze replied, not only apologising, but also offering to send a replacement pad. What a guy.

Amazing really given none of this was actually Götze’s fault.
