Game Pass Friends & Family Price

Game Pass Friends & Family is only available in Ireland and Colombia, where Microsoft is testing it. In Ireland, it costs €21.99 a month for five people, and in Colombia, it costs 49,900 COP.

Microsoft has said that future countries will be added over the next few months. Although, right now, we don’t have any idea what the service will cost in other regions.

Game Pass Friends & Family Details

The new Game Pass Friends & Family plan seems to be a stunning deal. Microsoft isn’t restricting the five members you can add to the plan to just your family. You can share with anyone you like.

The only major caveat is that you can’t share the plan with friends in other counties. Still, the low price per user and the lack of other restrictions will make this an attractive option for many.

In an FAQ, Microsoft also explained that there will be two types of subscription members: primary and secondary account owners.

The primary owner of the account is the person who pays for it. They’re also the only member who can add or remove others.

New Xbox Game Pass Leak & Reveal

Before Microsoft officially confirmed the service, the existence of the Friends & Family plan was leaked. Known leaker @ALumia_Italia tweeted some pictures of the branding on August 27, 2022, hinting at the announcement early.

We’ve known about the service for a while, with Xbox revealing to The Verge at the start of August that the service was being trailed in Ireland and Colombia.

Unsurprisingly, most of the fan reactions to the reveal have been positive. Many people were happy with the announcement when Tom Warren tweeted about the confirmation.
