Dark Avatar had been planned for release later this year, but Stardock recently announced that it was devoting more time to the expansion, making it much more than an incremental update. At the time of the announcement detailing the delay, a Dark Avatar beta was also promised.
Stardock has now announced that the beta will begin on November 16, and to take part you’ll have to pre-order the expansion via Stardock’s TotalGaming.net service. $24.95 will secure you a copy of the game when it’s released in February 2007, and also get you a place in the beta.
