The original Fuzion Frenzy was a moderately fun multiplayer party game that formed part of the launch line-up for the Xbox. After a long time away, Microsoft has announced Fuzion Frenzy 2 for the Xbox 360.

Developed by Hudson and published by Microsoft, Fuzion Frenzy 2 features a collection of forty futuristic mini-games set across seven different planets. Some of the games revealed include Collision Collusion, Turbine Jumper, and Super Slam Dunk – an advanced slam dunk shootout played in low gravity.

Multiplayer gaming is what Fuzion Frenzy is all about and the game features offline and online play, letting you battle it out with people from across the world – you can even create your own unique games and share them over Xbox Live.

The game also promises to take advantage of the graphical prowess of the Xbox 360, utilising radical themes and character designs to create an impressive visual experience. In the game players will use earned ‘tournament cards’ for several purposes, such as choosing the destination planet and selecting which mini-game will be played next.

Fuzion Frenzy 2 is scheduled for release across Europe and North America in time for Christmas.
