Successful PlayStation franchise Resistance, which spawned three Insomniac-developed shooters on PS3 plus two handheld games, could be over.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Online producer Daniel Brooke told OPM: “The Resistance franchise has been exciting to work on but as for the future we have no definitive plans.”

Brooke worked with Nihilistic Software on Vita title Resistance: Burning Skies.

Resistance creator Insomniac has now downed its PS3 exclusive development tools and is working on multi-platform action game Overstrike for EA Partners.
